Cancer is an abnormal growth in the body. Cancer can happen in almost all organs. About 40 thousand new Nepalese suffer from cancer every year. Therefore we should be concerned about Cancer.
The most common cancers in Nepal are that of Uterine Cervix, Breast, Lungs and Head & Neck. Cancers of different organs present with different symptoms. For instance, cancer of the tongue will have a non-healing ulcer in the tongue.Similarly weight loss and loss of appetite is seen in many cancers.
क्यान्सर भनेको शरीरमा असामान्य वृद्धि हो। क्यान्सर शरीरको लगभग सबै अंगहरूमा हुन सक्छ। प्रत्येक वर्ष ४० हजार भन्दा बढी नेपालीहरू क्यान्सरले ग्रस्त हुन्छन्। त्यसैले हामीले क्यान्सरप्रति सचेत हुनु जरुरी छ।
नेपालमा सबैभन्दा बढी गर्भाशय, स्तन, फोक्सो र टाउको/घाँटीमा क्यान्सर पाइन्छ। फरक अंगको क्यान्सरले फरक लक्षण देखाउँछ। जस्तै: जिब्रोको क्यान्सरमा जिब्रोमा निको नहुने घाऊ हुन्छ। यस्तै वजन घट्ने र भोक नलाग्ने लक्षण धेरै क्यान्सरमा देखिन्छ।
- Lump in the breast or armpits
- Discomfort in the breast
- Change in the shape or size of the breast or nipple
- स्तन वा काखीमा गाँठो
- स्तनमा असजिलो महसुस हुनु
- स्तन वा निप्पलको आकार वा आकृतिमा परिवर्तन
- Change in vaginal bleeding (e.g., after menopause)
- Bleeding after intercourse/sex
- Vaginal bleeding between periods
- Lower abdominal pain and vaginal discharge
- योनिबाट रक्तस्रावमा परिवर्तन (रजोनिवृत्ति पछि)
- सम्भोग पछि रक्तस्राव
- महिनावारी बीचमा रक्तस्राव
- तल्लो पेट दुख्ने र योनिबाट स्राव
- Cough lasting more than a week
- Blood mixed sputum
- Unexplained weight loss/loss of appetite
- Chest pain and discomfort
- एक हप्ताभन्दा बढी खोकी
- रगत मिसिएको कफ
- कारण नखुलेको वजन घट्ने/भोक नलाग्ने
- छाती दुख्ने र असजिलो हुनु
- Blackish or blood mixed stools
- Weight loss and anemia
- Constipation and loose stools
- Sense of incomplete defecation
- कालो वा रगत मिसिएको दिसा
- वजन घट्ने र एनिमिया
- कब्जियत र पातलो दिसा
- दिसा पूरा नभएको अनुभूति
- New ulcer anywhere in the body
